The Sons of God

Whatever is not of faith is sin
Every person born into this world is born a sinner[separated from God and already condemned].
The moment you are born-again you become a totally new creation. You are a son[spirit offspring] of God, you have been reconciled and made the righteousness of God in Christ [by being joined to Christ].
Your new spirit is joined to Jesus, therefore your spirit has all the same qualities of Jesus... which includes it can not sin.
Your soul[mind, will, emotions] on the other hand... was not born again and has not changed... your will is still rebellious, your emotions are still immature and your mind will be exactly the same as before you were born-again.
However, the God part of you is your spirit... it cannot sin however, you will still struggle with sinful behaviour because of programming[subconscious thinking]
So the dilemna for every christian is that the bible tells you that he that is born again cannot sin but you find yourself demonstrating sinful thoughts and behaviour everyday...
The bible is talking about your spirit cannot sin but your soul continues in sin.
What is God's remedy for changing sinful behaviour?
The answer is found in Rom 12:2
Transformed behaviour is the result of changing the way you think because the proverb says, as a man thinks so is he [his behaviour].
Now the slave does not understand this principle. He believes that if we repent hard enough and obey enough and speak in tongues and fast and tithe and attend every meeting, etc, etc... then all our problems will go away.
Therefore he erroneously focused upon the problem of sin believing the more he understands sin the more victorious he will become.
The opposite is actually true. The more you focus upon the fact that you are the righteousness of God, the more you will believe it, and your behaviour is a reflection of what you think and believe

How do I develop faith?

Faith is the faculty or vehicle we use in order to believe what we cannot see or understand. When we believe in something that is not tangible to our senses, we are using faith.
People believe many things by faith. But faith cannot save anyone. Only Christ can save. Faith is simply the gift given by God to allow us to believe in Jesus. This gift is given to all who want it, to all who choose to believe.
You can develop faith by praying and especially by reading the Bible and hearing sound, biblical teaching.
" . . . faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."This Scripture is found in the New Testament  Bible in Romans 10:17. As you hear God`s Word being preached or taught or even by reading the Bible, your faith will increase.
First, to develop your faith, you need to be sure that you know Jesus-that He lives in your heart as your Lord and Savior. If He does not live in your heart, if you are not a child of God, true faith cannot really grow. (More importantly, it cannot grow towards God. It will grow towards things that are fake, or that try to replace God.) Learn what it means to know Jesus here.
Pray first to ask the Holy Spirit to show you what God is speaking. And then read. You can also grow faith by hearing good teaching or preaching from the Word of God. You`ll find this in a good, Bible-based church, and in many places on the radio or Internet. (Ask someone who is stronger in the faith that you who he or she recommends you listen to.)

The side effects of God's Love

What are the side effects of God's love ? This question may seem odd but yet it connects to our current belief with all the medicine that exist, they come with side effects. In fact commercials will hype up a certain medicine and then give all the things that could go wrong. So if medicine can produce side effects, what about God's love? I'm convinced that his love will shine through us in ways that reflect His grace  and mercy, yet Christians along with churches struggle to do this practically and we are missing out!

The side effect of his love are not a plague to avoid but rather an opportunity to embrace that breeds change personally and beyond. These are what God's love does:-
1. Removes fear. When you an I receive his love, we begin the journey of being fear free, which empowers us to freely give others. This is crucial because God touches people through us. We are the method God uses to touch humanity. 1 John 4:18.

2. Creativity. This is a side effect to give us new ideas, to think out of box which empowers us to reach to people. We are not to force people into our religion ; we are to lead them to Jesus! So friends be very creative.

3. Authenticity. This is what Jesus is and his love will help us be the same. We are not to perform our faith;  we are to live out our faith in real way. God is real and His love tangibly changes lives and hearts forever, our job is to be authentic in our faith in Christ.

4. Relevancy. This is another side effect we should have . I am talking about being relevant with people's hearts. True relevance is being able to connect with others, to hear their hearts and give them the answer that they need.
On a final note, friends do you have these side effects working in your life today? Are you creative, authentic and relevant? Its time we pull back the curtains of fear and let faith fill our soul. Life is too short to live with regret, we can do something great for God.

Prepared and delivered by :Adeyeye Kayode Adeniran.
This is the message I preached in a gathering of God's children in the month of July, 2015.

Don’t Worry; Trust God

Enjoy prosperity while you can. But when hard times strike, realize that both come from God. That way you will realize that nothing is certain in this life. (Ecclesiastes 7:14 NLT)
You can be a hero one day and a zero the next day, a millionaire one day and bankrupt the next. No matter how much you make, no matter how much you save, finances are uncertain.
So we worry. What does the Bible say about worry and money?
1. It’s unreasonable. (Matthew 6:25) You're going to have fears in life, but there are better things to be scared of than a lack of finances. Life is more than just the accumulation of things. Even if you go bankrupt, it could get worse. Worry about what’s truly important.
2. It’s unnatural. (Matthew 6:26) Jesus reminds us that animals and plants don’t worry. Birds don’t say, "I'd better build a bigger nest for retirement." Only human beings don't trust God to provide for them. Everything else in creation does.
3. It’s unnecessary. (Matthew 6:30) Financial fears come from a misunderstanding about God and what He's promised to do for you. He's assumed responsibility for your needs. He says, "I'm your Heavenly Father; I'm going to take care of your needs. You're my child." We always get into trouble when we doubt the love of God.
Worry is playing God. It's assuming responsibility for something that God has said He will take care of. Paul reminds us in Philippians 4:19, “And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.”
God knows what's going on in your life — and in your wallet. God knows all your needs even before you ask. He wants to help you out.

Teresa Alzamora Haskett

An atheist was seated next to a little girl on an airplane and he turned
to her and said, "Do you want to talk? Flights go quicker if you strike
up a conversation with your fellow passenger."
The little girl, who had just started to read her book, replied to the total
stranger, "What would you want to talk about?"
"Oh, I don't know," said the atheist. "How about why there is no God,
or no Heaven or Hell, or no life after death?" as he smiled smugly.
"Okay," she said. "Those could be interesting topics but let me ask
you a question first. A horse, a cow, and a deer all eat the same
stuff - grass. Yet a deer excretes little pellets, while a cow turns
out a flat patty, but a horse produces clumps. Why do you suppose that is?"
The atheist, visibly surprised by the little girl's intelligence,
thinks about it and says, "Hmmm, I have no idea." To which
the little girl replies, "Do you really feel qualified to discuss
God, Heaven and Hell, or life after death, when you don't know shit?"
And then she went back to reading her book.

Hell; the place of torment!

MOST UGLY MUSIC EVER!!! (A must read PLEASE) This is the most UGLY and frightening song you will  ever hear! In a vision, I saw a naked man covered in flaming worms that cannot Die! He turned to me and heaved a deep sigh as flames surrounded him and he sung this song in an emotionless voice! A voice that held NO emotion only the pain and torment he was in! Here are a few lyrics from the song: Flaming worms crawl in, laming worms crawl out in the belly button and out the mouth! In the front and out the rear! In the eyes and out the ears!

We cream for mercy yet NO one cares or hears! Red hot pain in my blood rivers of feces, lava, vomit and blood it looks like a flood! Flames everywhere yet they cast NO light! All I have is every kind of pain, terror, torture and fright! I am a Citizen in HELL! This is the first level of HELL the other levels there are NO words to tell! Hell is so hot it boils the flesh off my skin how do I describe the HELLISH pain I'm in! I'm so thirsty yet I 've not even urine or tears to drink! And OH my GOD how this HELL stinks! AHHHH, I am a Citizen in HELL! There's NO water of any kind not even sweat to cool my brow, I know from Hell I will never be set free and demons curse and mock me! I scream to God to help me! Yet He does NOT hear! Instead the voice of Satan laughs and jeers! HaAa!

There's NO GOD and there's NO mercy here! I have torture, terror, and Damnation and every kind of FEAR!
But there's NO GOD HERE! Hahaha!" I am reminded how God in his mercy gave JESUS, His Only Son to suffer
crucifixion for my sins and on a cross he hung! Just so from HELL I would be free and Satan would have no
claim on me! But I refused JESUS blood to cover my sins. I wanted to live my own life so I denied Him! I know I have no one to blame now forever I 'll live in Satan's evil domain with every kind of torture and shame! Wanting to die but forgetting there is no death, thinking it will be better tomorrow but forgetting I have FOREVER left!

This is what its like to be a CITIZEN IN HELL!!! Where the Horror is so gruesome! NO tongue can tell!  Everyone who is coming here will have to dig to their own level before they die! And that is how deep your sins are piled up high! But beware the greatest of all sins is the REJECTION OF JESUS CHRIST! One torture room to the next what seems like your worst nightmare is ONLY satan at his BEST! This is what its like to be a CITIZEN IN HELL!!!!! - Sherrie Elijah Flaming WORMS that looked like Snakes! were crawling in and OUT of EVERY OPENING OF HIS BODY! His EYES, EARS,NOSE, FRONT, REAR, I repeat EVERY OPENING! without getting graphically gross here! The screams yet echo in my mind as I am writing this down! The rich man in the bible who went to HELL told God if he would just send a man back from HELL to warn others his brothers of the torment in Hell they would not want to come there, they would live differently! But God said even if he sent someone back from HELL, few would listen and take the warning seriously! Few would believe! In this end time how many has the LORD allowed to see Heaven and Hell to be brought back to life to tell of the Horror!

So many people die everything, and majority are trooping in to hell. Your friends and family members who died without Christ, or who lived sinful and worldly Christian life, are singing the same ugly songs in hell now; you will never see them again if only you also do not go to hell. If you are reading this article before the Rapture, it means you have the chance and choice to make in order to avoid hell, but it all depends on you. Jesus only is the way to save from going to hell; if you have not surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, you urgently need to do that now. If you claim to be a Christian but still living in sin, you need to rededicate your life to Jesus before it is too late. And if you have dedicated your life to Jesus, but living a worldly life of modern Christianity, hiding your sins, rising and falling into sin or ignoring to do necessary restitution, then you are also at the danger of hell. Until you surrender all to Jesus Christ, ALL! Are you ready to rededicate your life to Jesus now and start a new life?
The repent! Confess all your sins, ready to forsake them all and ask Jesus to forgive, cleanse you and save you.

Where will you spend your eternity

Dear friend,

You are in serious danger if you have not YET surrendered your life to to CHRIST and living a holy life.

The first danger you are in is the danger of being harmed or even eliminated by the enemy - Satan at
any point in time, anyhow, anywhere (because anyone living outside CHRIST is just like a sitting duck - a willing and helpless prey in the hands of the enemy).

The second danger is that of being eternally condemned to Hell fire after death (Revelations 9:27 , 20:15). Therefore, do the needful now, surrender your life to CHRIST, jettison all your sins, begin to live a holy life, and you'll be sure of both a good and fulfilling life on earth, and everlasting peace and joy with GOD after your sojourn on earth.

Husband and wife; oneness in marriage

TEXT: GENESIS 2:18-25

INTRODUCTION: The union of husband and wife merges two persons in such a way that little can affect one without also affecting the other. Oneness in marriage does not mean losing your personality in the personality of the other. Instead, it means caring for your spouse as you care for yourself, learning to anticipate his or her needs, helping the other person become all he or she can be. The creation story tells of God’s plan that husband and wife should be one (Genesis 2:24), and Jesus also referred to this plan (Matthew 19:4-6). A study of the Bible pattern for the home is important. How should husband and wife treat one another? What are the duties of the husband, wife? How important are love and commitment in marriage? For what cause may spouses divorce and remarry? Who should exercise authority as head in the home? Who should provide family income and who should care for the home? How diligent should parents be in teaching and training the children? Who should care for elderly parents? God’s word gives inspired instruction to guide us to happy homes. If we are to enjoy God’s blessings in our homes, we have to know what the Bible says about God’s purpose for husbands and wives. In order to   experience matrimonial happiness, we have to live according to his plan. What instructions does God’s word provide to help us have homes that please Him and accomplish His will?

THE ROLES OF THE HUSBAND
1. He must NEVER take wife for granted, but will honour and respect her as his equal (Read 1Pet.3:7) God commands the husband to treat his wife as an equal and grant her the highest honour! If not God says he will not answer your prayers! Selfishness is a marriage killer. For many men they think they are better than their wife simply because they are men. These men have made a serious judgment error. Husbands, tell your wife how important and valuable she is to you. Watch for the loving smile on her face when you do! The Proverbs writer said “An excellent wife, who can find? (Read Prov.31:10-12). Notice how the wise husband trusts his wife’s judgments and realizes how fortunate he is to have her.

(A) DISCUSS why many men disrespect their wives. (b) How may this be corrected? (c) Let the men in attendance at this meeting freely say what they expect their wives to do or be, to gain their respect.

2. The husband’s highest allegiance, except God, shall be his wife, not his relatives or friends (Gen.2:24)

Many husbands honour their blood family over their own wife. Such is a recipe for disaster! In-law problems are often the result of a husband who allows his mother and father to interfere in his relationship with his wife.

DISCUSS the limits the in-laws should be allowed in husband-wife affairs

3. The Husband should frequently tell his wife how important &valuable she is to him (Phil.2:3; Prov.31:10-12).

Selfishness is a marriage killer. For many men they think they are better than their wife simply because they are men. God gave women the authority to make important decision too: They are workers in and managers of the home (1Tim.5:14; Tim. 2:5). A wife’s judgment can be better than her husband’s. For example, Nabal and Abigail: 1Sam.25. Men should learn to express their appreciation to their wives.

When someone’s saying  “I love you,” he always ought to give a lot of details: Why does he love you? How much does he love you? When and where did he first begin to love you? And even though he insists it would take forever to count the ways he loves you, let him start counting.

The Final Great Awakening

THE GREAT WHITE THRONE — The Final Judgment of the Unsaved.
We read these interesting words in Revelation 20:14,
“And DEATH AND HELL were cast into the lak
e of fire. This is the second death.”
How can Hell be cast into the Lake of Fire? How can death be cast into the Lake of Fire? There are two different Greek words used here. The Lake of Fire is the Greek word Gahanna. The word “hell” in #Revelation 21:14 is the Greek word Hades. So we learn from the Bible that Hades will be cast into Gahanna. Hades is a temporary place, but Gahanna will be the eternal home of the damned.
Hell is a jail where the unsaved await trial and sentencing before being cast into the prison of the Lake of Fire. Please understand that if you are not a Believer—you are already condemned! ... “He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is CONDEMNED ALREADY, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” (‪#‎John 3:18)
Death is man’s great enemy! All the wealth, fame and worldly enjoyments a person may experience in this lifetime CANNOT go with them beyond the grave. Once you're dead, it’s over! It’ll be too late to live for God when your six-feet-under.
Death means SEPARATION. The first death is the SEPARATION of body from soul and spirit. This is true of the saved and of the unsaved because we must ALL experience the first death. Only the unsaved must experience the second death. If you’re a Believer, you will receive your resurrected incorruptible body at the Rapture (before the Tribulation Period); If you're NOT a Believer, then your body will be resurrected after the Millennium to stand before God at The Great White Throne of Judgment. “And the sea gave up THE DEAD which were in it; and death and hell delivered up THE DEAD which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works” (#Revelation 20:13)
There will be a reuniting of the body, soul and spirit at The Great White Throne of Judgment. Body, soul and spirit will all be cast into the Lake of Fire.
The Bible makes reference to the body being destroyed in Hell... “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy BOTH SOUL AND BODY in hell” (Matthew 10:28). Those in Hell will be cast into the Lake of Fire. The second death is a SEPARATION of your body, soul and spirit from God for ALL ETERNITY! How sad. If man will not accept the gift of eternal life from God, then he will receive the only other alternative—eternal punishment in the Lake of Fire. God never created mankind to be put in such a horrible place, but there is no other place for him. Hell was created for the Devil and his angels. I take it that this is a place where God never goes. The second death means eternal and absolute separation from God.

Sin and its connections

What is sin? People call sin by various names. Some call it mistake , some call it failure, and some call it human weakness or error. Whatever name you may decide to give to sin, every Christian must know that the immediate or remote destination of act of sin is death.

Sin means disobeying God and anyone who disobeys the Almighty God is in great danger. Sin also means violations of the perfect holiness of God. Sin started with satan Isaiah 14:12-14. Sin entered the world through Adam and Eve. Sin results to spiritual death, Romans 6;23. Unrepentant sinners  will forever be separated from God. Not only will a sinner be separated from God, he  will be tormented forever in hell, - Matthew 25:46.

Sin is vain talk- Proverb 10:19; foolish thoughts - Proverbs 24:9; unbelief - Romans 14:23, all unrighteousness. 1st John 5:17. Sin against the Spirit of God is unpardonable, Isaiah 63: 10, Mark 3:29. Sin is bondage, Proverbs 5:22. Concealment of sin is vain. Genesis 3:8. The Bible enjoins us to confess all our sins to God. Leviticus 16:21.
Sickness is an agent of death. Sin leads to sickness because sin provides sickness with a very conducive atmosphere to operate in the life of the sinner. Demons are also agents of death. Any one who lives in sin is a slave of satan - Romans 6:16. Sin always connects the sinner with Satan. Poverty and hunger are agents of death. 2nd Kings 6:24-29.   Sin separates from God. Matthew 7:23. It is repugnant to God Genesis 6:6.

Conclusively, Sin facilitates sickness, demons, poverty, death and so on while holy living facilitates healthy living, freedom, long life e.t.c. Are you still connected with sin? Pray that the blood of Christ will cleanse all your sins and break every power of sin ruling in your life.

Trials of life;God's ultimate purpose

TEXT: 1 PETER 4:12-19

INTRODUCTION

One of the most difficult part of the Christian life is the fact that becoming a disciple Christ does not make us immune to life’s trials and tribulations. Why would a good and loving God allow us to go through such things as the death of a child, disease and injury to ourselves and our loved ones, financial hardship, worry and fear? Surely, if He loved us, He would take all these things away from us. After all doesn’t loving us means He wants our lives to be easy and confortable? Well, no, it doesn’t. The Bible clearly teaches that God loves those who are His children, and He “works all things together for good” for us (Romans 8:28). S0 that must mean that the trials and tribulations He allows in our lives are part of the working together of all things for good. Therefore, for the believer, all trials and tribulations must have a divine purpose.

A. GOD”S ULTIMATE PURPOSE: As in all things, God’s ultimate purpose for us is to grow more and more into the image of His Son (Romans 8:29). This is the goal of a Christian, and everything in life, including the trials and tribulations, is designed to enable us reach that goal. It is part of the process of sanctification, being set apart for God’s purpose fitted to His glory. The way trials accomplish this is explained in 1 Peter 1:6-7 (please read it). The true believer’s faith will be made sure by the trials we experience so that we can rest in the knowledge that it is real and will last forever.

B. GODLY CHARACTER: Trials develop Godly character, and enables us to “rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance, character, and hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out His love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom He has given us” (Romans 5:3-5). Jesus Christ set the perfect example. “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). These verses reveal aspect of His divine purpose for both Jesus Christ’s trials and tribulation and ours. Persevering proves our faith. “I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me” (Philip. 4:13).
However, we must be careful never to make excuses for our “trials and tribulations” if they are a result of our own wrongdoing. “By no means let any of you suffer as a murderer, or evildoer, or a troublesome meddler” (1 Peter 4:15). God will forgive our sins because the eternal punishment for them has been paid by Christ’s sacrifice on the   cross. However, we still have to suffer the natural consequences in the life for our sins and bad choices. But God uses even those sufferings to mold and shape us for His purposes and our ultimate good (James 1:2-4, 12).

Discuss some of the ways believers may suffer for their own wrongdoings

C. WE HAVE THE VICTORY: Through all of life’s trials and tribulations, we have the victory. “But who gives us the victory through our Lord, Jesus Christ”. Although we are in a spiritual battle, Satan has no authority over the believer in Christ. God has given us His word to guide us, His Holy Spirit to enable us and the privilege of coming to Him anywhere, at any time, to pray about anything. He had also assured us that no trial will test us beyond our ability to bear it, and “he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it” (1 Corinthians 10:13).

MEMORY VERSE:
And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you (1 Peter 5:10 ESV).
